Di you know the beautiful Osaka castle is basically just a shell?... rebuilt in the early 30's in the style of the original, it is not wood and does not have any rooms on the interior that are authentic to the original or even reproductions. It houses gift shops, an observation deck and a small museum with mostly videos.

Gorgeous exterior and surrounding park though!
